Prescription Hope: advocacy, cost, and service
A medication advocacy service for people who want help coordinating assistance applications, their doctor's office, and ongoing refills.
Updated
Keeping a prescription affordable can involve calls to a doctor's office, missing documents, application deadlines, and repeated refill requests. Prescription Hope offers a team to manage that work throughout the year. Its published service includes enrollment, order tracking, and refill management through manufacturer patient assistance programs. How the company describes its service.

What the advocates handle
According to its FAQ, the team identifies assistance options, prepares and submits applications, coordinates with doctors and pharmaceutical companies, follows up, and manages renewals and refills. If a patient assistance route is unavailable, it also describes helping explore other savings options. Patients still need to supply requested information, and their prescriber remains involved. Service FAQ.
The company manages access rather than dispensing medication. Its terms say the manufacturer decides eligibility and supplies the medicine, which may go to your home or your healthcare provider's office. Paying an advocate does not change those program rules. Service responsibilities.
Cost and billing
The published service fee is $70 per month for each medication, with no additional service fees stated on the help page. Its terms allow returned-payment charges. That works out to $840 for one medication over 12 months, or $2,520 for three over the same period, assuming the rate and enrollment stay unchanged. The manufacturer's medicine is provided through its assistance program; the recurring payment pays for Prescription Hope's service. Fee details.
Pre-qualification is free. The help page says the first charge follows Prescription Hope's pre-qualification and your authorization to order medication. That can happen before the manufacturer grants final approval or medicine arrives. Its written terms describe immediate initial billing to begin processing and recurring monthly billing. Confirm the first charge date and expected enrollment timeline before enrolling. Billing explanation · Written terms.
Accreditation and customer experiences

BBB accreditation and the recorded LegitScript approval are important reasons for our confidence in Prescription Hope. Its position in our comparison comes from its customer-review evidence and BBB record under our published scoring method: 70% Trustpilot and 30% BBB when both sources are available. LegitScript supports our assessment of the business but adds no points to that numerical score.
LegitScript evidence date: August 19, 2026. A September 5 recheck required a CAPTCHA, so we have retained the earlier verification date.
The Trustpilot page retrieved September 5, 2026 displayed 4.9/5 from 521 reviews. It identifies a claimed profile, a paid Trustpilot subscription, and customer review invitations. Those details describe how the profile operates; they do not establish a success rate for everyone who enrolls. Read Trustpilot reviews.

Cancellation and refunds
The FAQ says you may cancel by calling 877-296-4673. The written terms also specify a signed cancellation letter to revoke the authorization to act on your behalf. Ask for written confirmation of the cancellation date and any remaining charges. Cancellation FAQ · Authorization and terms.
The terms provide a refund for the affected medication's service fees if manufacturer ineligibility prevents access and you supply the manufacturer's denial letter; they otherwise limit refunds. Separately, the help page promises cancellation and a refund if the provider does not respond within 60 days. Because these pages describe different circumstances, obtain the policy that applies to your case in writing. Refund terms · Provider-response policy.
Deciding whether it fits
A consistent point of contact may be valuable if you are managing several programs, have limited time for follow-up, or need help getting information between offices. Compare the annual fee with your likely medication cost through other available routes and the amount of coordination you want to hand over.
Before paying, ask which program covers your exact medication, what the advocate will handle after enrollment, how refills and renewals are scheduled, and how to get help if a shipment is delayed. Have your prescriber help plan for any gap while an application is pending.
Prescription Hope says it serves people with Medicare, but the medication's manufacturer sets the insurance criteria. A Medicare enrollment by itself does not confirm eligibility for a particular drug. Insurance FAQ. You can also explore the underlying assistance programs and decide how much help you need applying.
